12 June 2025
The 19 June, marks Clean Air Day 2025, the UKโs largest campaign dedicated to raising awareness about air pollution and inspiring action for healthier air.
Air pollution is the biggest environmental threat to public health in the UK. Itโs linked to a range of serious health issues, including respiratory diseases, heart conditions, mental health concerns, and thousands of premature deaths every year. But the good news? We all have the power to make a difference.
๐ฑ How You Can Help:
๐ถโโ๏ธ Outdoors โ Choose to walk, cycle, or wheel instead of driving when possible. This helps reduce toxic emissions like nitrogen dioxide (NOx) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5). Use tools like the AirTrack app to plan cleaner, safer travel routes.
๐ Indoors โ Improve indoor air quality by ventilating your space regularly, avoiding harmful household chemicals, and using certified air purifiers (such as those from Healthy Air Technology) to remove pollutants, allergens, and microbes.
๐ข Businesses โ Take action by reducing traffic-related emissions, improving indoor air quality in the workplace, and supporting clean air campaigns. Healthier air means healthier, more productive teams.
๐ Road traffic remains the leading source of air pollution. While walking or public transport isnโt always an option for everyone, small changes from those who can make them add up to a big impact.
This Clean Air Day, use your voice to advocate for cleaner, greener transport systems that benefit everyone. ๐ฃ๏ธ
